- A former Billing Director for the NYC Department of Mental Health and Hygiene, an expert in financial management, government compliance, provider credentialing, and staff training in the healthcare field for over 20 years. I am personable and understand the day-to-day struggles in understanding how to run your Revenue Cycle Management accurately for maximum claim reimbursement. Having a strong knowledge and background in repairing organizations' revenue cycle management (RCM) for 17 years, my training will get your team up and running with a structure that your practice can use for decades to come. I have over 15 years in Behavioral Health credentialing, billing, and OMH regulations. I have a natural gift for training medical billers and front-end staff. The technique of comprehension and a keen eye are just a few of the tools I use to help staff gain experience. Worked as an emergency room insurance referral clerk, and hospital fiscal analyst, then managing a NYC-based, 7-site non-for-profit mental health organization to managing 12 contracts for the City of New York HOPWA program. I have obtained the knowledge needed to help any organization get organized in the areas that build your practice foundation.
A Passion for Helping the Community
- Currently serving on the Board of Directors for 1441 Incorporated, serving to support House of A.R.M.S a 24-hour full-service wellness recovery program that provides substance abuse recovery, re-entry, and mental health support to adult men and young adults ages 18-50 in a safe and secure residential environment.
- Collaborating with United Communities Against Poverty to provide non-perishable items for the organization's food pantry. Having provided over 300 youth, adults, and families with quality meals.
- 1441 Incorporated works with NPUT, Need People U Trust which is a youth mentoring program that helps to provide emotional learning and mentorship to adolescent boys ages 12-24. Focusing on improving social-emotional skills, developing healthy relationships, and positive decision-making.
