Kareen T. Scott is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Claim Care Solutions (CCS), a healthcare strategy and operations consulting firm that helps healthcare organizations strengthen operations, build sustainable revenue, and achieve long-term growth. Drawing on more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, she partners with organizations to transform complex operational challenges into sustainable, compliant, and scalable solutions.
Her expertise is rooted in operational reality. Throughout her career, Kareen has helped organizations navigate credentialing challenges, payer requirements, revenue cycle performance, EHR implementation, staffing complexities, regulatory compliance, and the operational demands that healthcare leadership teams face every day. CCS engagements translate that complexity into structure, clarity, and defensible financial strategies that withstand scrutiny from payers, auditors, funders, boards, and executive leadership.
Her signature approach is simple: Clinic-Real. Compliance-Aware. Leadership-Ready. Every engagement is grounded in practical execution, supported by modern reporting and technology where appropriate, and designed to help healthcare organizations build stronger operational and financial foundations for long-term success.
Kareen has guided healthcare organizations through critical periods of growth, expansion, and operational transformation. Her work includes organizational launch planning, revenue infrastructure development, payer implementation, EHR configuration, operational readiness, workflow design, and post-launch revenue stabilization for community-based healthcare organizations.
She partners with leadership teams to build compliant operational frameworks that align clinical services, staffing, payer participation, and financial strategy into sustainable organizational infrastructure. From new program development to revenue stabilization, her focus is helping organizations establish strong foundations that support long-term growth.
Unlike traditional consultants, Kareen does not develop theoretical budgets or inflated financial projections. Every recommendation is grounded in operational reality, clinical capacity, regulatory requirements, and practical implementation. Her strategies are designed to withstand scrutiny from executive leadership, boards, payers, auditors, and funding organizations.
This philosophy serves as the foundation of the Claim Care Solutions consulting methodology.
Through Claim Care Solutions, Kareen continues to advise healthcare organizations, private practices, and executive leadership teams on healthcare strategy, revenue transformation, operational excellence, and organizational infrastructure. Her consulting approach combines practical healthcare experience with strategic planning to help organizations build sustainable operations that support both financial performance and quality patient care.
As a Revenue Operations Architecture my specialty is:
Our services can be tailored to provide operational support directly, develop your internal revenue operations team, or oversee implementation based on your organization's goals and operational needs.
Beyond her consulting work, Kareen is committed to strengthening communities through leadership, advocacy, workforce development, and service. She believes that strong organizations and healthy communities are built through collaboration, education, and sustainable support systems.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for 1441 Incorporated, supporting House of A.R.M.S., a 24-hour, full-service wellness recovery program dedicated to helping adult men and young adults (ages 18–50) achieve long-term stability. The program provides structured residential support focused on substance-abuse recovery, re-entry services, and mental-health care within a safe and accountable environment.
Through this role, Kareen also collaborates with NPUT — Need People U Trust, a youth-mentoring initiative serving adolescent boys and young men (ages 12–24). The program emphasizes social-emotional development, mentorship, leadership building, and positive decision-making skills that support lifelong success.
Through partnerships with organizations such as United Communities Against Poverty (UCAP), Kareen has supported community outreach initiatives focused on food security and family wellness, helping coordinate the distribution of hundreds of meals to local families.
Kareen received formal recognition for outstanding leadership, advocacy, and community empowerment during her early career as a 1199 SEIU Union Delegate and Out-of-State Community Organizer.
Her efforts contributed to the successful launch of multiple regional chapters nationwide — including initiatives across California, New Jersey, Albany, Washington D.C., Boston, Chicago, and St. Louis — expanding access to support, resources, and representation for healthcare professionals across the United States.
During the early 2000s, Kareen volunteered with the NYC Food Bank, visiting public schools throughout New York City to teach Pre-K students the fundamentals of healthy cooking and nutrition.
This experience reinforced her belief that healthier communities begin with education, prevention, and access—a philosophy that continues today through Rema's Kitchen Corner, her lifestyle and community brand dedicated to food, nutrition, family engagement, and healthy living.
Kareen founded the Think Positively Pink Annual Awards & Dinner in New York City to honor women who embody resilience, courage, and hope — inspired by her late grandmother, a breast-cancer survivor.
The inaugural event honored ten women survivors with an evening of recognition, celebration, and community support. Proceeds were donated to local wellness initiatives, followed by a second Harlem-based event supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
Plans are underway to relaunch the event in New York City, continuing its legacy of education, advocacy, and unity through community engagement.
After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia in 2021, Kareen worked with a nonprofit organization focused on HIV and AIDS advocacy and community wellness.
During this engagement, she supported operational strengthening and infrastructure development, including:
• process improvement and compliance tracking
• community outreach coordination
• participant enrollment and program navigation
• fiscal reporting and monitoring systems
• implementation of Salesforce, AdvancedMD EHR, Asana, and Bill.com
• facility restoration, property reconstruction, and operational workflow optimization
This work remains one of her most meaningful professional experiences — bridging advocacy, technology, and sustainable operations.
While Claim Care Solutions is recognized for healthcare strategy, revenue transformation, and operational consulting, its foundation has always been service. Kareen believes that sustainable organizations create stronger communities, and every engagement is guided by a commitment to integrity, collaboration, and meaningful impact.
